Among the noteworthy accomplishments of the final group of Bantu immigrants was the generation of political states, or even the introduction of centralized units of government. They established the Maravi Confederacy about 1480. Over the 16th century the confederacy encompassed the larger component of what's now central and southern Malawi, and, at the height of its impact, within the seventeenth century, its method of here presidency impacted peoples from the adjacent areas of existing-day Zambia and Mozambique.
